It’s up a hill, around a corner, down a nondescript Parisian street, in a bar serving drinks and karaoke…then you go down the curvy stairway…and it envelops you- the MUSIC at 18 Rue Laplace on Wednesday Nights!

She’s edgy, she’s chic, she’s cool….she’s Simona Sicovic, a modern Troubadour living the dream in Paris ‘24. She takes over the mic and wails ‘Proud Mary’...CCR, a group I heard so much growing up…my ma playing LPs on Saturday mornings to wake me up. But here it is…LIVE and with such VIBRANCE!!!

The Jam Sessions at 18 Rue Laplace are a special place of nostalgia…like Abbey Road, or the underground 90’s rap scene, or California of the 70’s…Paris in ‘24 is the place to be for a clash of artistry, future millionaires, fashion…and FUN!

Speaking with Fluer, we swapped stories about the existential aspects and financial concerns that come with living your dream life…but it’s Paris and we’re standing outside a Live Jam Session in the midst of what feels like a movement in live music! Next, she’s front and center, strumming her bass while I capture pics of the beautiful chaos.

Then Cerenia comes to the mic and belts out this amazing verse while embodying the image of some rock god from the past.
